Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

This citizen’s guide provides information on climate change and its impact on the environment and human health in a non-technical and illustrative way. It also provides tips and tricks on what can be done on an individual basis to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to a changing climate.

Fouad is a caricature character that was introduced to the Lebanese audience in 2011 through the l’Orient le Jour, Al Akhbar and Annahar newspapers to provide advices to readers on how to reduce their energy consumption and consequently reduce their households energy bills. The character was created by the illustrator Bahij Baroudi as part of the Mitigation to Climate Change project funded by the Italian Development Cooperation and executed by the Ministry of Environment (MoE).

This series of energy talks provides simplified information on different renewable energy technologies and gives advice and tips on the use of energy efficient appliances and renewable energy equipment. The talks were prepared and presented by Dr. Ahmad Houri, as part of the Mitigation to Climate Change project funded by the Italian Development Cooperation and executed by the Ministry of Environment (MoE).
